Biography
Pablo Boggiano was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied conducting at the national conservatory "Lopez Buchado" with Maestro Mario Benzecry and at the Argentinean Catholic University. He made his debut at the age of 18 in the cathedral of Buenos Aires. Two years later he was invited to work as an assistant with the National Youth Orchestra José de San Martín created in 1994 as a requested from Maestro José Antonio Abreu.
He went to Europe to continue his studies with Prof. Scott Sandmeier, Thomas Doss in Konservatorium Wien, Erwin Accel as well as with Jorma Panula in Helsinki.
In France Prof. Jean Sebastian Berau, a former student of Oliver Messiaen grant him the prize as winner of the international competitions to conduct the Orchestra Boréal in Paris.
In 2003 he was invited by Ivan Fischer to work with the Budapest Festival Orchestra during a tour in Buenos Aires. After he developed a very frequent activity in eastern Europe, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgari with orchestras such as Budapest Philharmonic, Bratislava Philharmonic, Kiev, Lviv, Karkov Philharmonic, Sarajevo Philharmonic, Sofía Philharmonic, and others.
In Argentina, he regularly works with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional, Orquesta Filarmónica del Teatro Colón, and most important others orchestras around the country. During 2017 he was invited by Teatro Colón to work in the international production of "Rosenkavallier" from Richard Strauss. During the season 2010/2011 he worked at the Opera House from Burgas and Russe, Bulgaria, and performed Rigoletto, Traviata, Don Giovanni and Carmen.
In Austria after ten performances of "The Magic Flute" with the support of the local government; he produced the world premier presentations of Opera-Tango with "Maria de Buenos Aires" from Piazzolla and "Mateo" from Martin Palmeri, during 2015, 2017 and 2019 in Italy.
In June 2013 he made his debut with the Royal Philharmonic orchestra of London in CADOGAN HALL. During the season 2018-2019 he worked with the Tonkünstler-Ochester at the Golden Saal of Wiener Musikverein and Sankt Pölten. During the "Beethoven Jubilee Year" and in 2020 will start his collaboration as a conductor with the Wiener Concert Verein to the opening of Festival SCL again at the Musikverein and continues his activity in 2021 with this orchestra around Austria.
He made his debut in Germany with the Jaener Philharmonic Orchestra in 2019, and got invited to work with Göttinger Symphony Orchestra in 2020.
In May 2019 he recorded the first Cd of Naxos from composer Esteban Benzecry with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Lviv- Ukraine, in collaboration with the composer.
Invited by Maestro Gustavo Dudamel to work with Simon Bolivar Orchestra in Venezuela.
